After designing and copying a flyer titled "Neighbors' Potluck", one nice Saturday morning I went around the neighborhood and distributed it. I met some of the neighbors. We had nice chats and all were very appreciative of getting invited. Some had just thought about doing something like this. So this was encouraging. At the actual potluck we had about 12 - 15 people that came buy and at one point had a nice little circle and shared things about our lives, munched on the delicious dishes and got to know each other a little better. With some I got to talk and told them about my project to change our home to a sustainable living model and demonstration site. We introduced Berta's nephews and had a great afternoon. Every seemed to have enjoyed this getting together. A great start!
